Employment - New Workforce Partnerships Program

SERVICES FOR JOBSEEKERS*

Russian Ethnic Representative Council of Victoria (RERC) invites Russian speaking jobseekers and other jobseekers from Slavic/Eastern European background to become the participants of New Workforce Partnerships (NWP) program - State Government initiative aiming to provide sustainable jobs for Victorians who face significant difficulties entering the workforce.

Russian Council is a non-profit organisation involved in many community development programs. RERC has been successfully providing community employment services for different clients for last 10 years.

Russian Council provides a range of employment services such as:

Labor market orientation and matching your overseas skills to local opportunities
Preparation of competitive resume, cover letter and selection criteria statement: group workshops and individual consultations
Development and improvement of your interview skills: group workshops and individual consultations
Job search within local labour market
Opportunities for work experience through retraining courses
Opportunities for work experience through voluntary positions
Opportunities to improve business English through retraining courses
Customised career counseling and mentoring
Paid work trail and ongoing customised career support

To become a participant of NWP program you need to have a right to work in Australia at least 30 hours per week and be registered with Russian Ethnic Representative Council of Victoria: 543 North Road, Ormond Vic 3204.

PLEASE NOTE. According to contract requirements Russian Council will give a preferance to jobseekers who pursue a career in two target industries: 1) accounting and business services; 2) aged care. RERC has a very limited resources to provide service to jobseekers beyond the scope of two target industries above.
