The Council publishes and distributes the RERC Newsletter VESTNIK directly to 2,000 Russian clients’ homes and to 200 email addresses.
Other major activities organised by RERC for the enjoyment and benefit of the community include the St Vladimir’s Ball, the Russian Film Festival and the Day of Russian Culture Concert.
RERC also assists in and/or organises other special concerts and exhibitions, such as the ‘Anniversary Celebration of 100 years of Russian Life and Achievements in Harbin held in 1998 and the earlier event of 1000 Years of Russian Orthodoxy.
In addition, RERC periodically sponsors local and overseas Russian performers and entertainers.
All of this is to maintain the cultural links for both newly arrived and established Russian migrants.
