This assessment is important to ensure that any modification done to your home is based on your personal needs to ensure you get the maximum benefit.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h5><strong>Step 2<\/strong>&#8211; Quotes from builder\/trade person<\/h5>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>This assessment will then be sent to us and we will organise for an appropriately qualified and experienced builder and\/or other trades-people to review the recommendations in order to provide a quote. If the builder identifies any potential issues they will discuss these with the OT and identify an appropriate solution.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h5><strong>Step 3<\/strong> &#8211; Finalising a<strong> Scope of Works<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Once the quote has been finalised you should be provided with a copy and a &#8216;Scope of Works&#8217; that outlines exactly what modifications have be en recommended for you and the cost. You can request changes to be made or additional modifications at this stage if you wish, but anything that is beyond what is deemed reasonable and necessary for your condition will not be eligible for any subsidy &#8211; it will be at your expense.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h5><strong>Step 4<\/strong> &#8211; Finalising payment and scheduling modifications<\/h5>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Once you have agreed with the Scope of Works and the quote provided and details regarding payment have been finalised the provider will schedule your modifications and advise you when to expect the builder and how long it may take.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h5><strong>Step 5<\/strong> &#8211; GST) and applies per client per financial year. Any cost over the cap must be borne by the client.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>Our Client Services Coordinator will discuss the cost of the service and all the details with you during an initial consultation.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The Australian Government expects people who can contribute to the cost of the care to do so. Our Service Coordinators will discuss the\u00a0contribution with you before we proceed with the home modification.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div style=\"background-color:;height: 20px\" class=\"nicdark_section  \"><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<h3><strong>Exclusions and responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #606060;\">General renovations of the home, capital works and lifts in houses are not in the scope of the CHSP Services will not be delivered where another entity holds responsibility for structural changes to the home<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #606060;\">Similar Government support is already provided through other programs or where it is a state or territory government responsibility to provide this type of support (e.g. clients living in social housing would receive home modification support through their state or territory government)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #606060;\">It is the responsibility of the client to investigate and gain any permission necessary before modifications are undertaken. For example, permission to modify a private property the client is renting, strata scheme permission or local council authority where applicable<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div
