The aim of the Aged Care Meals <\/span><\/strong><\/a>is to provide you with prepared healthy and nutritious food delivered to your home.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

While good nutrition matters at any age, it becomes more important in your later years. Eating a balanced diet and regular meals is an important part of both your physical and emotional wellness.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

We understand that it\u2019s not just about meal delivery, it\u2019s about a nutrition partnership based on your needs, likes and preferences.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

To receive government-funded service you will need to have a referral from My Aged Care<\/a><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After you have been assessed by My Aged Care and have chosen Russian Ethnic Council of Victoria (RERC\/Russian Aged Care) as your provider our Russian-speaking Client Services Coordinator will be in touch to arrange a home visit. During this home visit, you can tell us what help around the house you need, and your preferences on time and carer.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

What will it cost?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t

If you are eligible for the Commonwealth Home Support Program<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, 70% of the cost will be covered by the government. You will be asked to pay 30% of the cost directly to the Lite n’ Easy.<\/p>\n

Our Client Services Coordinator will discuss the cost of the service and all the details with you during an initial consultation.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

  • Once you have enjoyed your meal, you can rinse the plastic meal tray and place this in your paper and cardboard recycling bin. The clear plastic film can be disposed of with your normal household rubbish.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To recycle the delivery box, simply remove the thermal liner, fold the outer box flat and place it in your paper and cardboard recycling bin. The thermal liner and ice packs can be reused or disposed of with your rubbish.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
