Club Erudite unites the Russian-speaking people of Melbourne who are interested in culture and science, history and philosophy. We meet regularly (once or twice a month) at Russian House, 118, Greeves St., Fitzroy. At Erudite you can discuss current events, hold interesting exhibitions, reports and concerts. We organise lectures, seminars, contests, and excursions.
The aim of the club is to unite the intellectual Russian elite of Melbourne. We are always happy to see new people, who can share their knowledge in their native language with their compatriots. We involve our children and grandchildren, acquainting them with the key models and concepts of modern science (Physics, Chemistry, History, and Biology) and art (music, literature, and painting) in the native language. Getting involved in our discussions, they enrich their vocabulary and replenish the piggy Bank of knowledge. Join our club-we are always interested!
